Fashion Show Review: ‘Fashion Runway Manila 2023: Reemerge’

Mike Tagle has been in the events and fashion industry for more than a decade. After a miraculous recovery from a critical illness, the designer-producer bounced back June this year with Resurgence, produced of course by his company MTP Production. Unlike the aforementioned production, Fashion Runway Manila 2023: Reemerge had a better catwalk (it was raised) and it was totally full house.

My favorites designs for this edition consist of Mike Tagle’s athleisure collection, JP Chua’s Spades of Love, Batangas designer Adam Balasa’s new collection and Ranel Espaldon’s Black Widow. Though not as seasoned as the four, Julius Pluma, Jr.’s JAP Collection is also noteworthy.

Other featured designers were Alfie Eufemio, Arsenio Salamat, Jr., Frankie Say, Gladys Ayuste, Sheila Marie del Rosario, and Thelma Abalos.

Some of the collections were showcased by the MTP Cycle 31 graduates, who had their own segment during the show.
