The South Yard at SM Southmall Has it All for You

Located conveniently near the parking lot, the South Yard is directly outside the southern exit of the SM Southmall leading to an open space at the G/F called Food Street Al Fresco.

Residents of SM South Residences are literally just a couple steps away from enjoying tons of food as well as mall patrons. In fact, given its location, you could just park, eat, and then go.

I was able to sample the different offerings per kiosk and I like that it is curated in such a way that the vendors don’t compete with each other’s products.

A highlight of the area is Mel’s Bar, which is open even in the morning if you feel like day-drinking. Their specialties are Strawberry Margarita, Toblerone, and Lychee and Lemonade Mojito.

I ranked the kiosks according to their menu and what they sampled but trust me, all of them are worth trying:

The front facade of the South Yard has a bench so you can take pictures there. It also has a nice sunset view and the place is friendly to animals, even to strays.
