140K Passengers at Philippine Ports Monitored by PCG

From 6 a.m. to 12 noon on Holy Wednesday, 77,782 outbound passengers were reported, while 68,890 inbound passengers were reported at all Philippine ports.

A total of 4,748 frontline personnel have also been deployed in 16 PCG districts where 647 ships and 1,113 motorbancas have been inspected.

The PCG has placed heightened alert in its districts, stations, and sub-stations from April 13 to 20 to manage the influx of passengers at the port.
