Lovi Poe is Proud to be an SCD Woman

Lovi Poe is the main endorser of SCD, which stands for Skin Care Depot. Founded by its CEO Gracee M. Angeles, the trusted skincare brand originating from Olongapo City, Zambales has been endorsed by the Batang Quiapo actress for almost a year now.

During the SCD Ignite Grand Event held at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center to celebrate the brand’s 8th anniversary, Poe shared with the members of the media what it means to be an SCD woman: “An SCD Woman for me is someone who uplifts others as well. I think it’s the beauty of what we learn from Ms. Gracee (Angeles) rin talaga eh. It’s not just about yourself. It’s uplifting others. And that’s why I think one of the reasons din why she produces these kinds of products is not just for herself, she wants to share
that beauty with others.”

Angeles also appears in some promotional materials of her products. One of the special guests during the event is actress Maui Taylor, who did some endorsements for SCD’s whitening soap during the pandemic. She was one of the first to try out SCD’s deodorant and sunscreen, which were new during that time.

During her opening remarks, Angeles imparted how the acronym MOVE contributed to her triumph:

“M is for motivation. Having motivation gives us the ability to overcome any hardship we may encounter.

“O is for obedience. We have policies in our company and its important that we all abide.

“V is for veracity. Truthfulness makes problems easier to solve because it’s easier to communicate.

“And E, endurance. There will be challenges but we must endure as well. That is simply what life is.”

An SCD distributor is referred to as a “Dyosa” (goddess), that is why it is not surprising that Angeles chose the theme enchanted/fairytale, because according to her, “”Life is very enchanting, full of surprises…makulay.”

Other celebrity guests during the events were Boss Toyo, Khel Pangilinan, and Sassa Dagdag. It was truly an enchanting evening for the company’s distributors who came all the way from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, to celebrate, mingle, party, enjoy delicious food and booze, and win prizes.
