‘Ang Ating Pag-ibig’ of Princess Velasco Gets Official Audio
Even though it has been topping charts in Itunes and Spotify for quite awhile, GMA Music has just released the official audio of Ang Ating Pag-ibig on their Youtube channel, a follow-up to the recording video of Princess Velasco released a week ago.
Even though it has been touted as somewhat of a Christmas love song, aside from the backup choir in the beginning beautifully sounding like bells, the song, I believe, can be for every season. It talks about the simplicity of purely loving each other and believing in that love, a promise which can never be broken.
Even though she has her hands full being a dutiful wife and mom, she still finds the time to nourish her soul as an artist. “Singing has always been there for me. It will always be a part of my life whether or not I do it profesionally. I will continue to sing,” quipped Princess during an online media conference.
The song had its beginning as a one-verse piece sang by her husband Mark Herbert Rosario, a pediatrician. That verse was his original composition in 2013, and Princess first sent the full rendition with guitar accompaniment to her husband before showing it to the bosses of GMA Music.
Ang Ating Pag-ibig is available via Youtube Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital stores nationwide.
