Cute Creatures Aplenty in Masked Singer Pilipinas Season 2
“Oh my God,” a wide-eyed Cristine Reyes exclaimed as Babe Wit, the singer behind a cute mouse costume, turned out to be Aubrey Caraan. Sadly, her co-actor in Encounter had to go home because she and her fellow judge detectives, Matteo Guidicelli, Kim Molina, Aga Muhlach, and Bayani Agbayani, voted that she should be out.
The first episode of Masked Singer Pilipinas Season 2 aired earlier, 6pm on a Saturday, and it will occupy that timeslot every Saturday. It will still be hosted by Billy Crawford.
Many loyal viewers are definitely anticipating how the rest of the season will unfold, since the first season in 2020 was highly successful.
“Buong Pilipinas ang nakisaya at nakisama sa hulaan,” MSP host Billy Crawford said.
If there were just 12 mystery voices last season, this time there are 16.
During the mediacon, the judges were asked that if given the chance to be contestants, which masks would they choose? Their answers were as follow: Cristine (fairy like Tinkerbell), Billy (panda because of the dark circles under his eyes), Kim (duck), Bayani (maggot), and Matteo (dog).
Since Bayani is the new member of the Masked Singer Pilipinas family, he was asked how he was able to adjust. He did say he had already worked with most of them or at least met them prior to the show so all he had to do was observe their rapport. He even joked that when he did need advice, he would go to Aga and ask him about his lovelife.
Even though the Masked Singer USA Season 7 is ongoing, they are not afraid of the comparison. “Yung camaraderie namin yan ay napagsasama-sama namin dahil sa kagalingan ng contestants namin,” said Billie.
More visually stunning costumes and jaw dropping performances await in the next Masked Singer Pilipinas Season 2. The show is a collaboration between TV5, Viva, and Cignal.
