Maya waives fines for credit and loans till August 15

In order to allow you to concentrate on getting back on your feet, Maya will be suspending penalties for Maya Easy Credit and Maya Personal Loan until August 15, 2024. This is because tropical storm Carina has caused floods and heavy downpour to disrupt homes and businesses in the Philippines.

The waiver will only be granted in the event that your credit is in good standing. Up to August 15, there won’t be any penalties for qualified accounts with outstanding balances on Maya Easy Credit, Maya Personal Loan, and Maya Negosyo Loan.

Customers who live in areas badly hit by Typhoon Carina and have strong credit standing may be eligible. NCR, Rizal, Bulacan, Tarlac, Zambales, Pampanga, Cavite, Bataan, and Batangas are among the regions. All eligible accounts will receive a notification from Maya via SMS or the Maya app.

If you meet the eligibility requirements, there won’t be any penalties or effects on your credit score until August 15, 2024. Regular fee billing for all clients will resume on August 15, 2024.
