JhasDrick Movie ‘Home I Found in You’ Film Review

In an uncertain world, you’ll find someone to share your antics with, listen to the sound of the waves, watch the sunset with, or even scream your lungs out at the top of the hill. You will find a HOME in that person. A person who is afraid for your love to fade.

‘Home I Found in You’ is a romantic film starring a newbies Jhassy Busran and John Heindrick (whose young loveteam is known as JhasDrick). It also stars Eunice Lagusad, Diego Llorico, Harvey Almoneda, Orlando Sol, and veteran actor Soliman Cruz.

Last March 25, the movie had its successful premiere night and the Cinema 1 of Trinoma Mall which was filled with audiences who gave favorable feedback after watching.

Jhassy and John have really good chemistry. The teen actress is a classic Filipina beauty who is very telegenic. The teen actor is very cute and his looks can be a match for Daniel Padilla. Watching the two of them will give you butterflies in your stomach. They’re a good fit for each other.

In the acting department, they don’t seem like newbies and they were convincing in their respective roles. Audience held their breath during the topless scene of John. Eunice Lagunsad who played the sidekick was impressionable and her punchlines will really make you laugh. She’s good in delivering them naturally and she is also a good fit for her role. The tandem of Diego Llorico and Orlando Sol is also a good addition to the film. The playfulness and romance of the narrative will really give you good vibes. 

The cinematography is pretty decent and it highlights the beauty of the natural surroundings.

From the screenplay of Ahj Bondoc, this romance movie is directed by Gabby Ramos (“Mestizo: A Beautiful Boy,” “Pugon,” “Tukador Ni Tatang”).  The film is produced by REMS Films.
