Singing Seaman Pitz Beriña Covers Vehnee Saturno Songs
It seems as if it was yesterday when he was embarking on perilous journeys on international waters as a seaman. Now, Captain Peter, whose full name is Pitz Beriña, is now a recording artist. The Singing Captain is now ready for a new adventure.
For the first time, Beriña played his new song Kita Ay Mahal for his close associated and members of the media at an intimate press conference held at The Palm Grill in Tomas Morato yesterday, Thursday noon.
The song was composed and arranged by Vehnee Saturno so Beriña is very proud of this song which talks about true love.
Aside from this, Beriña’s first album contains six original compositions and seven cover songs. You might have heard his revival of Rodel Naval’s original song Muli playing on your favorite radio station.
Pitz Beriña wants to be an inspiration not only to his fellow seafarers but to all Filipinos so they can aspire to reach for their dreams — whatever age or social status.
Presently, he is actively promoting his songs. He also mentioned that he plans to put up his own media production and talent agency, to be able to help those who have hidden talents in singing, acting, or dancing.
He also yearns to have his songs chosen as main themes for various television series in the Philippines.
Pitz Beriña is also a businessman. He also has a heart of gold, ready to render assistance to vagrants. He also plans to put up a foundation to further aid them.
Whether on land or on the sea, this Singing Captain is making waves.
