Why Nora Aunor is the Compass of Fredrick Atienza

Fredrick Atienza may be part of the “Gen Z”, but this 22-year-old with a rock ballad soul confesses to be in awe of the Philippines’ Superstar, Nora Aunor. In fact, he even gamely sang some lines from her unreleased song ‘Habang Panahon’.

The aspiring actor-singer hails from Malolos, Bulacan and his mother is a certified Noranian so he grew up very much familiar with ‘Himala’, ‘The Flor Contemplacion Story’, and other popular films of the Superstar.

He’s indeed a lucky guy because aside from having met her in person, she promised to help him get his feet wet in showbusiness.

He was able to already perform in front of a lot of people not just because he auditioned for ‘Idol Philippines’ and ‘Starstruck’, but because he already has a  theater acting experience.

Via his school org, he was able to perform in orphanages but he was already able to work with in a non-academic setting via the play ‘Lampara’, which was about Dr. Jose Rizal.

As a singer, he was told that his voice is most suited to singing rock ballads. He also vlogs on Youtube via ‘Frederick Atienza Vlogs’ where he would post about his travels, acting stints, and song covers.

Speaking of being a Youtuber, his favorite vlog of Nora Aunor is the one where she was helping the calamity victims.
